piano/Yulin Shen
Yulin has established herself as one of Taiwan’s leading young musicians. Born in Taiwan, She began her musical studies at the age of five, with the guidance of Chieh-Koa Wu; Yulin earned her Bachelor Degree in piano performance from the high-level education in National Tainan University of the Arts in Tainan, Taiwan, where she was a student of Mikhail Kollontay. She was the first prize winner at many competitions, including “National Bournemouth Education Institute” Piano competition ”Prague” Piano Competition, ”Sidof” Piano competition
Recently winning the second prize in IX International Piano competition of Andorra -Spain and semi finalist in Montreal International piano competition, she also got the 18th Chi-Mei cultural foundation's artistic talent award and invited to participate in the film Co. Tim Meara of MM Film crew of London and the winner of 2nd,3rd and 4thCultural youth ambassador Arts Program.


Yulin is an active performer of Solo recitals, chamber music, touring France, Germany, Canada, Austria, Spain and major cities in Taiwan. She has played in Ostfriesixhe Landschaft Music Festival in Germany with favorable reviews in 2000, 2001, Savene Music Festival in France, Solo performance at the International Mozarteum Festival in Salzburg, Austria and “Gala concert in Muharrt, Germany in 2004.Yulin also performed the First Tchaikovsky Piano concerto with the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra. In the coming months she will be performing in Taiwan Canada and Europe.


Yulin just received her Master of Music Degrees from Université de Montréal, studying piano performing with Master Dang Thai Son; she has worked in master classes with Vladimir Tropp, Jose’Feghali, Boris Petrushansky, Laurent Cabasso, Dominique Merlet, Boris Bermen and Dimitri Bashikirov


Yulin is currently studying Artist –diploma in Faculte de Musique of Universite de Montreal.

沈妤霖簡介
俄國鋼琴大師Bashikirov曾讚賞她演奏了真正的音樂，被評為音樂中帶有敏銳且強烈的藝術特質並有豐富的舞台魅力。沈妤霖自幼便展現過人的鋼琴天賦。1984年出生於台灣，6歲開始習琴，曾師事陳泰成、蔡佳慧、張欽全、Mikhail Kollontay等教師。他在12歲曾被推薦至英國曼紐因天才音樂學校，I6歲獲得英國皇家音樂院演奏文憑Diploma –RSM。
此外，亦曾與多名多位國際知名音樂家一起工作，包括郁君宜、陳宏寬、Tatiana Pikaizen、E. Sternlicht、Vladmir Tropp、Jose’Feghali、Boris Petrushansky、Laurent Cabasso、Dominique Merlet、Boris Bermen，李名強，及俄國鋼琴大師Dimitri Bashikirov等。
沈妤霖目前定居加拿大，並追隨曾獲蕭邦鋼琴大賽首獎的著名鋼琴家鄧泰山(Dang Thai Son)學習，他在2008夏天完成Universite de Montreal大學鋼琴演奏碩士，現在則繼續攻讀藝術家文憑。
沈妤霖近幾年得獎資歷頻繁，他在國際鋼琴大賽皆有優異的表現，包括第一屆台灣國際鋼琴大賽，義大利摩洛波里國際鋼琴大賽，加州Russian music國際鋼琴大賽，還有三年一度的蒙特婁國際鋼琴大賽。他曾獲得西班牙第9屆Escades-Engordany國際鋼琴比賽銀牌及加拿大”la music festival”鋼琴比賽第三獎。他兩度獲得台灣文建會音樂人才庫獎項以及”奇美文化基金會藝術獎”榮譽。他的表現，也受到加拿大CBC電台，台灣IC 知音以及其他電台的實況轉播和專訪。

沈妤霖自15歲舉辦生涯第一場鋼琴獨奏會「琴音四起」後，便活躍於獨奏，室內樂的演出，也一直不斷的嘗試和尋找不同的詮釋方法，從古典音樂，現代作品，到即興創作，足跡踏遍美國，加拿大，歐洲和台灣許多城市。他在2000、2001年受邀參與德國Ostfriesiche音樂節，並以鋼琴以及室內樂型式演出，獲得熱烈迴響，且受當地報紙專欄報導。2002年於高雄文化中心至善廳舉行「秋月星琴」獨奏會、「樂壇星秀鋼琴三重奏音樂會」。2004年4月在台北台泥大樓士敏廳舉行鋼琴獨奏會，並與國立臺灣交響樂團，匈牙立籍指揮Tomas Gal合作演出柴科夫斯基第一號鋼琴協奏曲。同年8月在薩爾茲堡vinne saal音樂廳，9月於德國Murrhart “Gala Concert”擔任獨奏演出。2005年7月受台南市文化局邀請，於台南市文化中心演藝廳演出「天使之音”」以及2006年4月兩場個人演奏會。 2006年8月於台北許常惠基金會中受邀發表台灣新銳作曲家李元貞作品《三點水》。2007年4月與亞美尼亞小提琴家Robert Margaryan等人在加拿大蒙特婁Salle Claude-Champagne音樂廳演出貝多芬奏鳴曲全集。同年暑假受邀參與新逸藝術第一屆台灣巡迴音樂會。同時他也已經在加拿大舉行了多場獨奏會。
2008年他參與了法國普羅旺斯l'Académie Pianistique Internationale鋼琴音樂節
除了在鋼琴上的表現，他在電影上面也有濃厚的興趣，曾拍攝短片” In the Depth of the Summer”，並錄製一些實驗電影配樂。
