The 2011/2012 school year is about to come to an end.

While we welcome the new students who made an wise decision to embark an adventure at McGill University, we look back to an eventful year full of fun and academic rigor.

We started the year with a welcome party that took place on Mont Royal. Thanks to the somewhat reasonable weather, we had some fun before we head into the indoor season.

Following our adventure to the mountain, we took our members to some hardcore stress relieving paintball games.

To balance our active lives a little, we decided to enjoy a nice night out by taking advantage of the fine dining experience that Montreal is famous for!

Since we're all graduate students, there is no reason that we would only have fun all the time! It's now time to give back. To do so, we decided to share our experiences with the young, ignorant, ready to sell their souls undergraduate students. We shared our stories on why and how to get to grad school during the "Meet the Grads" event

Right before the end of 2011, we played some nice Taiwanese movies at the school for those who misses Taiwan, and for those who are interested in knowing more about Taiwanese movie industry.

Since many of us are here without our family and close friends, it is essential that we are together for the most important holiday of the Chinese tradition: the Lunar New Year!

Of course, we cannot possibly finish the year without doing something Canadian too! YEP, we went skiing/snowboarding!! It's great to see southern sea island people enjoying some cold weather and winter sports. ;D

To showcase our brilliance as McGill graduate students, we had an event that reflect what we do best. We presented our research to each others in a fine afternoon. Not only did we get to practice essential presentation skill in front of our peers, we learned about really interesting research projects that we would otherwise know nothing about! Most importantly, each presenter was awarded with a cash award presented by the Taipei Economic and Culture Office.

Lastly, we had a wonderful dinner. It was during the dinner that we unanimously elected our new MTGSA president, Jay Chiu. We are sure that in Jay's hand, we will have a wonderful year full of activities.

If you are a McGill graduate student or graduate student to be and find our club to be one that you would like to take a part in, please feel free to contact us through this blog or Facebook. Our dear president will get back to you as soon as he can!!

Cheers and hope you'll have a wonderful year.
