本研究所目前有1名專任副教授、1名研究助理教授及34名合聘教師，教師研究群分為4組，依序為【奈米力學組】、【奈米材料組】、【微系統暨奈米生醫組】、【奈米光電暨能源組】，在國科會所補助之南台灣奈米科技核心設施研究中心計畫支持下，具有傑出的微奈米製程、奈米材料合成、前瞻奈米材料特性量測以及奈米生醫研究設備與成就。國立成功大學已榮獲教育部五年五百億邁向頂尖大學計畫補助，正極力快速邁向世界前100名大學之列，本所為此計畫重點發展的單位之一，歡迎有抱負及創意的學者參加這個充滿活力的團隊。

The Graduate Institute of Nanotechnology and Microsystems Engineering at National Cheng Kung University, in Tainan, Taiwan is inviting applications for several full-time, tenure-track faculty positions at the assistant, associate, and full professor levels available immediately. We are looking for applicants with excellent research capabilities and have wide capacities to explore advanced technologies. Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in engineering or science or a M.D. degree with expertise in at least one of the following areas:
1. Micro/Nanofabrication
2. Nanomaterials
3. Nanodevices
4. Nanomanipulation
5. Nano-biomedicine
6. MEMS/NEMS and Applications
7. Micro/Nano Sensors and Actuators
8. Simulation and Modeling in Nanotechnology
9. Solar cell and solar energy
10. Nano-Optoelectronics
The Institute currently has 36 faculty members divided in four groups which are Nano-optoelectronic and energy, Micro-system and nano-biomedical science, Nano-materials, and Nano-mechanics and supported by the Southern Taiwan Nanotechnology Core Facilities Center funded by NSC with excellent micro/nanofabrication, nanomaterials synthesis, advanced nano-characterization, and nano-biomedical facilities and research capabilities. National Cheng Kung University has been chosen one of two top universities in Taiwan to receive special MOE funds towards becoming among top-100 universities in the world.
