Hello,

Please find below information regarding the upcoming Tax Information Session for international students:
Tax Information Session for International Students
Mar. 24, 2009 - 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM

* Leacock Building, Room 232, 855 Sherbrooke Street West

Representatives from Revenu Québec and Canada Customs and Revenue Agency will be on hand to help the student:
• Calculate taxable income
• Apply for tax credits (childcare expenses, tuition, etc…)
• Determine residency status for income tax purposes (the 183 day rule)
• Apply for G.S.T. Rebate (Goods and Service Tax)

Time: 1pm - 3pm
Students should be prepared to attend the whole session.
